It will have nothing to do with Hart, who will likely take over the lead in rushing yards (nationally), as the kid from UCF is playing against a tough USF Defense.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02549251690072397866noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2823747767618531449.post-10415431023242247132007-10-10T01:14:00.000-04:002007-10-10T01:14:00.000-04:00CBC - thanks for the throw. Granted the last two weeks have had a lot of bigger headlines than UM vs. (insert should-be cupcake here), but it seems that even Hart's HIGHLIGHTS from the BTN haven't even been making the cut on ESPN lately...and he's had a few beauties. Not to mention any recognition for the school rushing record.

-JonFAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16876293333377677545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2823747767618531449.post-31659032014332289322007-10-10T01:12:00.000-04:002007-10-10T01:12:00.000-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16876293333377677545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2823747767618531449.post-53685434580008870332007-10-09T18:45:00.000-04:002007-10-09T18:45:00.000-04:00I'm not sure the BTN hurts his chances as much as ...I'm not sure the BTN hurts his chances as much as the season-opening loss did. Because even though they shouldn't, you know the Heisman voters favor players on more highly-ranked teams (one player on an undefeated team must be better than one player on a two-loss team). So if Hart is in the mix at the end of the season, you know some media-numbed voters are going to say yeah, but his team lost to a I-AA team. And somehow, in their minds, it'll be relevant.

But in my mind, if Hart doesn't get serious consideration for the award, then it'll lose whatever credibility it has left. There's no way he's not one of the best this year; he carries the team more often than he should have to. (I'm waiting for a photoshop job with Hart as Atlas or something.)

Oh, and I love the Big Ten Notwork graphic. Fantastic.Sgt. Remember we started slow in 2003 and Perry got invited to NYC. if we can duplicate the success and beat OSU w/o losing a game I think Hart will be in the mix.

Either way the guy is a warrior, and we are gonna miss him after this year.

Hopefully Mcguffie can become the next Hart.

Love the blog, keep up the good word.Jim Harbaugh Scramblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15561157019933290986noreply@blogger.com
